New Year's Resolutions
Among other resolutions for 2012, I hope to use less water and paper. Live green!
Plastic Bags Update
Below is the response from Target regarding the email I sent about plastic bags.
Dear Hannah Stommel,
Dear Hannah Stommel,
At Target we have a responsibility – as team members, as a company and as global citizens – to minimize our environmental footprint. I'm pleased to tell you that our efforts include using paper shopping bags made from recycled material. While paper bags should be available at all SuperTarget stores, a team member will use plastic bags unless you request paper. To help make recycling even easier, we invite you to bring back previously used Target bags for new purchases at our stores. If you'd like to reuse your Target shopping bags, just let the cashier know during your checkout. Some of the same great benefits you've come to enjoy from the use of paper bags can be found by using our reusable bags. Have you seen them at our stores? Our line of Target branded reusable bags are strong, lightweight, fashionable, eco-friendly and available at a great price. Be sure to check them out during your next visit if you haven't already! For the most current details about all Target does for our environment, please visit: www.target.com/environment.
